A US man is in a state of shock after he was told his erectile-dysfunction drug, Viagra, could have serious side effects. But after doctors at the US Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) lab tested the drug, they found no heart problems, and that it did not cause a heart attack.

The FDA said it had received an investigation by the British Medical Journal (BMJ) and found no evidence that the drug caused the heart attack.
